Factory visit Pirotecnia Zaragozana: producing a 6 inch shell – fireworks – vuurwerk

Ever wonder how they make a display shell? Recently we visited in Spain the fireworks factory Pirotecnia Zaragozana. I was able to shoot a little video of producing a shell, enjoy! 🙂

  1. The crews are gonna have some clean up job trying to collect all this plastic debris after the show.

  2. Ugh, plastic……Clearly this is all about production. Thankfully, paper is still KING in the pyro manufacturing world. The cost of the dies to produce the plastic parts is very high, no artistry here. The manner in which this operation works is well thought out, that is about all I can say for that.
The bust is on cotton seeds, the burst powder could be something as simple as hand made blackpowder possibly supplemented  with a little modified flash or whistle mix,
    Why not paper?

  3. Hey PyroWorld, do you know what they used for their burst? I don’t know why, but that just doesn’t look like chunky black powder to me lol. Does it have a small mixture of flash powder in it? I can’t tell.

  4. all i see is lots and lots of not nececcary plastic thats just gonne cause problems.every piece of plastic is gonne fall out of the sky after the shell goes of also plastic doesnt rot unlike paper it will just lay on the ground forever and not go away naturely
